About this notice

This notice explains how Little Day Made collects and uses personal data when you visit littledaymade.com, interact with our Etsy shop LittleDayMade, or contact us. Little Day Made is the controller responsible for this processing. Etsy is separately responsible for its own processing, as explained below.

Contact us at hello@littledaymade.com or through Etsy Messages about your personal data.

Personal data we use

We receive personal data directly from you and through Etsy. This may include your name, contact details, Etsy username, enquiries, messages, attachments, order and transaction details, and information about your interactions with our shop that Etsy makes available to us. It may also include delivery or download information and location or address details supplied through Etsy. We do not receive your full payment card details.

When you visit our website, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested and access times is processed to deliver and secure the website and understand how it is used.

Why we use it

We process personal data to the extent necessary to:

We rely on consent for optional tracking and for sending email updates to subscribers.

If you choose to subscribe to email updates, we use your email address and any name you provide to send product news and offers with your consent. You can unsubscribe through an update or by contacting us.

We may be unable to fulfil an order or answer an enquiry without the personal data needed for that purpose.

Who receives it and overseas processing

We use providers of email, website hosting, domain and technical services to operate the business. We may also share relevant data with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims.

Etsy operates its own accounts, checkout, payments, communications and download facilities. Etsy and Little Day Made act as separate, independent controllers of personal data for their respective purposes. Etsy’s privacy policy is available at https://www.etsy.com/legal/privacy/.

Our providers operate in the UK and internationally, including Ireland and the United States. Our providers’ published international transfer arrangements include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, supplemented by UK provisions where required. Contact us for details of the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy.

How long we keep it

We normally delete enquiries that do not lead to an order 90 days after the last contact, unless an outstanding issue requires longer retention.

We retain the transaction information needed for tax and accounting records for six years after the end of the relevant accounting period, or longer where legally required. Other order correspondence and dispute records are kept for as long as needed to provide support, resolve outstanding issues and address related legal claims.

Technical records are retained for operating and securing the website, investigating faults or misuse and producing usage statistics, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for those purposes.

Subscription details are kept while you remain subscribed. We retain limited consent and unsubscribe records where needed to demonstrate your choices and respect your preferences.

Etsy determines how long it keeps its own platform records. Deleting our copies does not delete Etsy’s records.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Contact hello@littledaymade.com or use Etsy Messages to exercise your rights or raise a privacy complaint. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. Where EU GDPR applies, you can complain to the relevant supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
